High temperature gold and High temperature white gold

High temperature golds are precious metal preparations specially designed for firing at extremely high temperatures of 1180 to 1250°C. They can be fired together with inglaze colours.

In its chemical structure they have a „family bond“ to the burnish gold preparations. They also consist of finely dispersed precious metal powders, fluxes as adhesion promoters and organic solvents and resins.

High temperature golds get with a dull, matt surface out of the oven. During the burnishing, the fine gold flakes are brought into order and the decorations get the typical rich and massive silk matt gold appearance. High temperature gold decorations are dishwasher resistant.

High temperature golds form a 0,3 to 1 µm thick, precious metal layer. The precious metal content of these products varies between 26 and 38%.

Detailed information about high temperature golds can be found within the menu point Technical Information.
