Semi-Products for Medical Technology We manufacture semi-products not only for our own use but we also offer them directly to our customers. Examples are: rods and seamless tubes for machining or further cold forming, ultra fine wires with diameters as small as 10 µm, e.g. from platinum-8% tungsten, ultra fine tubes down to 0.17 mm in diameter and with wall thicknesses of 50 µm, sheathed wires in a wide variety of material combinations and also foils and strips, e.g. 10 µm thick platinum-iridium strip for electrodes or 25 µm thick rhodium foil.
