Electrodes for Neuro-Stimulation Our micro-machining technologies offer special possibilities for the manufacture of minute electrodes for neuro-stimulation. Small 10 µm thick platinum strips can be easily wrapped round the nerve bundles. Using the laser we can structure them precisely in order to give the electrodes the desired shape. Suitable electrode tips can also be produced from fine wires and tubes. The electrical properties can be improved by appropriate coatings. back © W. C.
