Rhodium Foils
Rhodium films with a thickness of only 25µm are an especially interesting product. They are used as radiation filters in mammography in order to reduce radiation levels during examination while simultaneously improving contrast and resolution. On account of rhodium's extreme brittleness a special process must be used to roll the extremely thin foils. High demands are made on the purity, cleanliness and homogeneity of the foils because the filter must be absolutely free from defects. back © W. C.
