Stents We have established an integrated production line for the manufacture of both coronary and peripheral stents. We can offer you the entire process from the manufacture of tubes and laser structuring to electropolishing, coating and, if required, final heat treatment. This means that there is a saving in expensive testing between the individual production steps, as we can adjust our processes exactly to meet the requirements of your product. Process times are greatly reduced which, in turn, achieves a marked reduction in development time. We have all types of analytical equipment in house and can thus supply the stents to you not only with dimensional measurements but also complete with the results of all microstructural investigations, mechanical and hardness tests and, if necessary, corrosion investigations. The materials we use are not only stainless steel (316L). We lead the field particularly in the processing of tantalum and niobium and we have developed special processes for Nitinol such as electropolishing and gold plating.
