Melting Technology Almost all the materials we offer are melted in house. This means that we can influence their properties from the beginning, which is often decisive in their subsequent processing. Our melting technologies are as varied as our materials: atmospheric and vacuum induction melting, arc and electron beam melting. Even difficult materials such as rhodium or platinum-tungsten can be treated at the melting stage in such a way that it is possible to manufacture the thinnest foils and wires from them. We also melt niobium and tantalum in house in one of Europe's largest electron beam furnaces. back © W. C.
